Reports have swirled that Beyoncé would be writing and starring in a film about Saartjie (Sarah) Baartman, the South African woman who was a freak show star with her intense physical features (a Kim Kardashian-like curvy butt) during the 1800s. But the singer is denying she has anything to do with the project. “Beyoncé is in no way tied to this project,” her rep told Billboard. “This is an important story that should be told, however.”
